Occasionally, we are lucky to receive batches of old and used cobblestones, which are highly sought after and incredibly beautiful and unique. Every stone has its own story to tell. Here on the site, we offer a wide selection of cobblestones, including both new and used stones, each with its own unique appearance. The new stones are more uniform in size compared to the old ones, which were hand-carved. The older stones exhibit great variation in size, adding to their unique charm.

We offer the following types of cobblestones:

• Grey cobblestones: A classic choice, widely seen in many places. These stones are new and originate from Portugal.
• Dark grey cobblestones: Slightly darker than the grey cobblestones, but otherwise identical. These stones are also new and come from Portugal.
• Used Nordic cobblestones: These used stones come from the old streets of Denmark and are full of charm and history.
• Moseløkke cobblestones: A beautiful, used cobblestone from Bornholm, featuring a reddish tint.
• Blue Rønne cobblestones: A stunning, used cobblestone from Bornholm, characterized by a bluish hue.
• Used cobblestones - special batch: A unique batch of heavily worn cobblestones, making them extraordinarily distinctive and beautiful.

How to Lay Granite Cobblestones

To lay cobblestones, start by assessing where they will be installed. For driveways or terraces, or around flagpoles, the preparation differs. For paving where vehicles will drive, it is essential to establish a durable base. We recommend starting with approximately 20 cm of stabilizing gravel at the bottom, followed by approximately 5 cm of paving sand on top for laying the cobblestones. Use a compactor to tamp down both the gravel and sand layers before laying the stones in the desired pattern.

For terrace paving, we recommend laying approximately 5 cm of stabilizing gravel, followed by approximately 5 cm of paving sand. For round areas around flagpoles or trees, the process is similar to terrace paving. Alternatively, cobblestones can also be cast in concrete to ensure maximum stability.

We deliver our cobblestones in bigbags to all of Denmark, where fixed bridge connections exist. This means you can have them delivered directly to where you need them. We even offer delivery with a mobile forklift or crane, allowing access to narrow areas or placement over a hedge.
