North Sea pebbles in the size range of 16-32 mm

These sea stones, with their rounded shapes and colors, give a fantastic warm look to your garden bed or driveway if you want a slightly larger stone than what is typically used. The size of 16-32 mm is measured on the stone's shortest side, indicating a stone with some mass, where you can clearly see its beautiful shapes even from a distance. The colors are golden and brown, bringing natural tones into the garden. This stone type is extremely popular and of the absolute highest quality.

Very round stones

The beautiful sea stones have rounded shapes because, over thousands of years, they have been smoothed by the water at the Jutland Reef in the North Sea, where they originate. This gives a very calm appearance, and combined with the stones’ size, it adds depth and warmth to the entire garden. The distinctive golden and brown colors are a delight to the eyes and especially stand out in damp weather.

• North Sea pebbles 4-8 mm: The smallest of our sea stones, particularly suitable for pathways and garden beds.
• North Sea pea gravel 8-16 mm: A stone type particularly suitable for driveways.
• North Sea cobbles 32-60 mm: The largest of the 4 stone types, often used around foundations or in garden beds.

How thick a layer of sea stones should you plan for?

These sea stones, also called sea pebbles, measure 16-32 mm on the shortest side, making them a bit larger than stones typically used in driveways. Therefore, a layer of approximately 7 cm is needed to properly cover the base. This means that 1 m³ will cover an area of about 14 m².

Due to their size, there is usually no need to refill the area where they are placed. They remain in place, and cats and dogs typically do not disturb them, so they do not shift from the original area. However, if these stones are used in an area where large machinery operates, they may gradually press into the substrate over time.

Delivery of North Sea pebbles

We can deliver sea pebbles across Denmark, always in practical Maxibags, which are large big bags that make handling easy and convenient. They can be placed according to your wishes, making the work as simple as possible. A Maxibag contains either 500 kg, 1,000 kg or 1 m³, offering a better price per kilogram when choosing the latter.

Standard delivery to "sidewalk / driveway"

Our standard delivery is included in the price, where your Maxibag is placed at the entrance to your driveway or on the sidewalk near your home. You can specify the desired location so that it does not obstruct vehicles or other areas. These instructions can be provided in the comment field during the purchase process.

Delivery with forklift

If you need your big bag delivered to an area where our large trucks cannot reach, delivery with a forklift is a great option. This can be relevant in summerhouse areas or garden associations. If you have a long driveway, we can also transport it as far onto your property as physically possible. It is important to note that the forklift is heavy, so we avoid driving over paved areas, grass, or other fragile surfaces to prevent damage.

Our forklifts require a width of 2.5 meters and a height of 2.8 meters.

Delivery with crane

If you want your Maxibag delivered over a hedge or fence, you should choose this delivery method. These stones are often used in garden projects, and by choosing crane delivery, you can avoid many trips with a wheelbarrow. Additionally, you can have the large big bag placed precisely in the bed where the stones are needed, making the process even easier.

Please note that large crane trucks require ample space. From the main road to the final address, there must be a clear height of 4.5 meters and a width of 4 meters. The crane can extend a Maxibag 7-8 meters away from the truck.
