• North Sea pebbles 16-32 mm: A stone type suitable for garden beds or driveways where a slightly coarser look is desired.
• North Sea cobbles 32-60 mm: The largest of the 4 stone types, often used around foundations or in garden beds.

How thick a layer of pebbles should you plan for?

These sea stones, also known as sea pebbles, measure 8-16 mm on the shortest side, making them relatively small stones perfect for driveways without getting stuck in car tires. We recommend a layer thickness of approximately 5 cm to ensure the base is properly covered. In a garden bed, you can lay a thicker layer to make it harder for weeds to grow. However, in a driveway, the layer should not exceed 5 cm, as a car might sink into it. This means that 1 m³ will cover an area of about 20 m².

Over time, you might notice the layer thinning due to the stones being pressed into the ground or slowly shifting away from the original area. However, it is easy to replenish later, and the quality and color will always be consistent with us.

Delivery of North Sea pebbles

We can deliver sea pebbles across Denmark, always in practical Maxibags, which are large big bags that make handling easy and convenient. They can be placed according to your wishes, making the work as simple as possible. A Maxibag contains either 500 kg, 1,000 kg or 1 m³, offering a better price per kilogram when choosing the latter.

Standard delivery to "sidewalk / driveway"

Standard delivery is included in the price, where we place your Maxibag at the entrance to your driveway or on the sidewalk near your home. You can specify the desired location so that it does not obstruct access for vehicles or other areas. These details can be provided in the comments section during the purchase process.

Delivery with forklift

If you want your big bag delivered to an area where our large trucks cannot reach, forklift delivery is a good option. This is relevant for summerhouse areas or garden associations, and if you have a long driveway, we can drive as far onto your property as possible. Note that forklifts are heavy, so we avoid driving over paving stones, grass, or other delicate surfaces to prevent damage.

Forklifts require a width of 2.5 meters and a height of 2.8 meters.

Delivery with crane

If you want your Maxibag delivered over a hedge or fence, crane delivery is the best choice. It is often useful for garden projects, as it avoids many difficult wheelbarrow trips. With crane delivery, the large big bag can be placed precisely in the garden bed where the stones are needed, making the process even more convenient.

Keep in mind that crane trucks require ample space. From the main road to the delivery address, there must be a clear height of 4.5 meters and a width of 4 meters. The crane can extend a Maxibag 7-8 meters away from the truck.
