Building sand in 0-4 mm is a very fine sand that makes concrete work better and easier. It is important that the building sand is of good quality to ensure a proper final concrete result.

We recommend a mixing ratio of 1:4 between building sand and cement. This means using 4 shovels of building sand and 1 shovel of cement. This mixing ratio provides the highest strength class in the concrete mix.

Building sand is used for concrete work both indoors and outdoors, for wear layers and floors.

Building Sand is available in 500 kg., 1,000 kg. or 1,500 kg maxibags.

Here at Maxibag, we offer cement of the highest quality, namely strength class CEM 52.5 II. You can easily purchase cement here on the website, so you receive it in the right proportion. The cement is delivered separately in a big bag, which you can access as needed. It can be sealed to withstand rain without damaging the cement.

If you buy a 1,500 kg (1 m³) big bag of building sand, you should purchase 250 kg of cement to maintain the correct ratio.

Our forklifts are 2.5 meters wide and 2.8 meters high.

Delivery with Crane Truck

If you need precise placement of your big bags, we can offer delivery with a crane truck. This solution is ideal if your materials need to be placed over hedges, walls, or fences. The crane truck ensures that your building sand is delivered safely and precisely where you want it.

The crane truck can reach the building sand 7-8 meters away from the truck.
