Topsoil is an all-round product that can be used throughout your garden. It is very easy to use topsoil, as it simply needs to be spread where you need it, and it is ready for planting. We recommend that you water around the plants immediately after planting. Whether you are establishing a hedge, a perennial bed, planting trees, vegetables, or a flower bed, just spread the topsoil and place the plants into it. The roots of the plants should be placed in the topsoil.
This soil has a lovely texture, and you can almost feel the quality when you take a handful from the maxibag / big bag upon receiving the soil. Everyone can work with this type of soil, whether it’s your first time planting or you are an experienced gardener.

Difference between screened topsoil and topsoil

Screening soil means that you sift the soil through a sieve and sort out stones from the soil itself. This results in screened topsoil. The mesh sizes on the sieve/screen can vary, which is why some refer to screened topsoil as 0-20 mm or 0-10 mm. With a 0-20 mm screen, there can be stones up to 20 mm (measured on the narrowest side of the stones). However, it is important that there is a content of smaller stones in the soil, as the stones provide drainage in the soil. If the soil cannot drain water through these smaller stones, it will turn to mud and damage the area (e.g., a lawn).

Topsoil that is not screened is soil that can contain both smaller and larger stones. This is essentially equivalent to taking a shovel and digging into a field where there may be stones, roots, etc.

Soils can vary in structure. For example, there are sandy soils and clay soils, and there can be significant differences from area to area regarding the structure of the soil.

How is our soil delivered?

We have different delivery methods, and you just need to choose the delivery method that suits you best. We have several options for the delivery of topsoil, so you can have your big bag / maxibag placed exactly where you want it. It is crucial to get the product placed in the best possible way for you, so you don’t waste unnecessary resources moving it and so that the maxibag doesn’t obstruct you or your neighbors. Standard delivery

This delivery method is also called curbside/delivery driveway, and as described, you can have the soil delivered either on the road, at the curb, or on your sidewalk. Our skilled drivers also have the option to place the product at the beginning of your driveway, so it doesn’t sit on the sidewalk.

Mobile truck delivery

A mobile forklift is great if you need to move the product down a gravel road, into an allotment garden, over granite chippings, onto grass, and other places where there is a solid surface. Our driver brings the mobile forklift to you, unloads it from their truck, and drives the product to the location you want. This is an extremely efficient delivery method that we have great success with, to the satisfaction of our customers.

Crane delivery

If you need to have the product placed over a hedge or over a railing/fence, this delivery method is fantastic. Our skilled crane driver will come out with a truck equipped with a crane and place the product where you want it.

When you buy 1300 liters, the price is 958 DKK per 1000 liters. This way, you achieve the best price on topsoil, and in fantastic quality. Furthermore, you can get our completely natural soil amendment added to the soil free of charge. Here we mix topsoil with soil amendment for you, and the product is ready to use when you receive it. We always mix our soils fresh from day to day, so the mixtures are completely fresh when you receive them.
